The community is created by settled refugees from Afghanistan who came to Australia between 1999-2001. The group is from a tiny village in Khushi, Logar Afghanistan (about 100). The group’s mission is to help new refugees and make the organisation core to both religious service and other humanitarian crises that Afghanis continue to face.

The community focus on providing help to vulnerable people such as newly arrived Afghan refugees and many other vulnerable groups. We devote our time to organising events to bring the community together and connect people with each other. Provide meals to vulnerable families and individuals- most of our events provided food.  We are a community that understands the struggle, and we have experienced we want to help others.

The following service is available:

-connect with other Settle refugees by participating in the events.

-our events promote networks for new refugees to connect with others.

-we offer many free meals to vulnerable families and individuals

-service with daily activities such as dealing with Australian government departments

Our community understand that there is a growing number of our member and people who have low literacy skills.  They require support with family issues, work-related problems and all other legal advice. We as a community refer to our local lawyer and we try to connect many people to local trustee professionals to assist our members. We have members that qualify and we try to connect the person to the right people to deal with matters.
